The program connects these new players with commercial space service providers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"348\" data-end=\"697\"><strong>space offers a unique experimental environment where biological and physical systems behave differently<\/strong>. The space environment allows us to re-discover materials and properties, improve understanding of processes and interaction of substances, and to create new and more accurate data models. At reduced levels of gravity, the biological, chemical and physical processes change. Numerous studies have demonstrated the value of space-based research, leading to advancements in, for instance, biomarker discovery, new biologics formulations, aging models, organoids, and protein crystallization.
