The PDA terminal supports the inputs of localisation and informations from the "card header" of the Field Medical Card data of the patients in the I-DISCARE System (the content of the Field Medical Card is decided by the user).
Additionally, the PDA terminal allows audio communication with dispatching console operator.
This terminal is used by an actor near a patient. It has two main uses : - Providing communication tool, and information to the actor. The satellite phone, which can be used to communicate with any other actor during the operation, offers a great communication tool. The data terminal, which is mainly used to report patient data, displays also a precise time and date, as well as the current location of the actor.
- Precisely identify the patient, affecting to each of them the location, and time of the first contact, and some short medical data intended to help the classification of the patient.
