Based in Toulouse (France), MEDES is a group of economic interest created in 1989,
with missions are to develop an expertise in the medical supervision of manned flights
and the preparations for future interplanetary manned missions and to apply
the results of space research on the areas of Healthcare.
In order to meet space and clinical resaerch needs, MEDES runs
a centre for medical experimentation, the Space Clinic.
MEDES has been also invested for more than
15 years in many telemedicine
or medical research projects.
